Purpose of this record
I'm losing weight in public, under my real name. Every day I document the result, and my accountability partner keeps the official record and holds me to the written agreement.
In private, I could delay, renegotiate, restart, or stop documenting when the results became uncomfortable. This record exists to remove those escape routes. Every day I have to produce the evidence, and the result becomes part of a public record I can't quietly change.
